NCOS exposes the cadet NCO to instructional and leadership fundamentals.   Students learn and apply such skills as teaching drill, instructional presentations, leading PT and leadership theory.

Graduate of BCS or Encampment

NCOS is typically held in the Spring and Fall, with separate Northern and Southern California Schools

Other Notes

NCOS has student participants serve as flight sergeants throughout the weekend.  For many cadets, this is their first experience in charge of a flight.
